Noida-based DesignX, a smart manufacturing platform, has raised $2 million in a Pre-Series A round led by Rockstud Capital.
The round also saw participation from We Founder Circle, Piper Serica, and several existing enterprise clients.
The fresh funds will fuel geographical expansion across India and global markets, while also helping the company upgrade its AI infrastructure and integration tools to serve industrial clients with more advanced capabilities.
Founded in 2015 by engineering duo Rajat Srivastava and Nishant Srivastava, DesignX operates a digital factory operating system (Df-OS) that automates and digitizes over 600 factory floor processes.

The platform seamlessly integrates with ERP, IoT, and enterprise software suites to deliver real-time visibility into manufacturing operations.

As Industry 4.0 gains traction, the company is carving out its space as a comprehensive solution provider in the smart manufacturing domain, competing with players including Precog, Infinite Uptime, and Lynkit.
